Google Data Access
When you connect your Google Account to Junira, we request limited access to certain Google Calendar and account information.
What we access
Junira requests the following Google scopes:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly – to view calendar availability and avoid double bookings.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events – to create, update, reschedule, or cancel calendar events when bookings are made or changed in Junira, and to notify attendees via Google’s built-in calendar notifications.
- openid, email, and profile – to authenticate your Google Account, verify your identity, and display your name and profile image within your Junira workspace.
How we use this data
• Junira only creates or modifies events it generates; it does not read or alter unrelated calendar events.
• We store only the minimal metadata needed to manage Junira-created events.
• Your Google email address is used solely to verify and display the connected account.
• We do not access Gmail, Drive, or any other Google services.
User control and revocation
You may disconnect Junira from your Google Account at any time from your Junira settings or via the Google Account Permissions page.
Revoking access immediately prevents further event updates and deletes stored tokens.
Compliance
Junira’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
